CLINIC NURSE MANAGER, RN

Full time RN Clinic Nurse Manager reports to the Director of Nursing and is responsible to plan and administer the nursing activities of the primary care clinic and specialty clinic.  Clinic Nurse Manager duties include:

 

  • Manage day-to day clinic nursing operations and resources;

  • Lead and support nursing staff in performance improvement; serve as an effective liaison between physicians and patient care teams;

  • Assure nursing services are delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards;

  • Prepare short and long-range plans and budgets related to clinic nursing;

  • Manage projects;

  • Effectively assess and resolve issues as they arise;

  • Responsible for ensuring adequate and appropriate staffing and monitoring of staff hours, including overtime;

  • Responsible for daily flow of all patient care activities of the department;

  • Responsible for compliance with the hospital’s quality assurance and performance improvement program; 

  • Executes specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization;

  • Lead, coach and develop clinic nursing staff;

  • Manages clinic staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management;

  • Performs and oversees recruitment;

  • Adheres to departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.  Determines and justifies needs for systems, equipment and supplies purchases; monitors usage and oversees proper working order and stock supplies. 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minnesota Registered Nurse License

  • 3 years clinic experience

  • 1 year supervisory experience

RN - Nursing Floor

Full-time with regular scheduled hours and on-call.  Would consider three 12 hour scheduled shifts every weekend, days or nights.  Current RN license required.  Full-time benefits include health, dental, life and disability insurance and vacation/sick leave program. 

Full-time and Part-Time Housekeeper

*Full-time, day shift

*Part-time, evening shift

Both positions include rotating weekends and holidays.

Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

 

PRIOR AUTHORIZATION IP NOTIFICATION SPECIALIST

PT 30 hrs/week.  SCMC is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter to oversee inpatient notifications, outpatient radiology, physical therapy and infusion therapy prior authorizations. This role will involve checking insurance eligibility/benefits and submitting authorization requests and notifications to insurance companies via phone, fax and web based formats in order to facilitate an efficient patient care experience and secure reimbursement. Position will require detailed and effective customer service, planning, organizational and communication skills. Role will work with a variety of areas including nursing, providers, billing, radiology and coding staff on a daily basis.  

 High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical background and terminology preferred. Experience with insurance eligibility, CPT, ICD-10 helpful. College coursework or one-year degree in medical support field preferred.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

LPN - Morris Clinic

PT 30 hrs/week LPN to work with Specialty Providers and Urgent Care.  Must have current LPN license. 

DEPARTMENT SECRETARY, BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE

Part-time 20 hrs/week, includes every third weekend and every third holiday for transcription.  Job duties include transcription, scheduling patients, maintaining charts, typing, and filing.

PAYROLL COORDINATOR

Position is 32-40 hours per week.  Attention to detail, strong computer skills, and accuracy required.  Position also requires the utmost attention to confidentiality and good communication skills.  Payroll experience preferred, including knowledge of tax regulations and overtime rules.  Will play a key role in implementation of new Payroll/Time & Attendance software.
