March is ‘Save your Vision’ Month

So much of our life is based on visual stimulation from our work to our everyday.  With electronic devices and computers part of a daily routine, the risk of eye strain and damage is higher. Dr. Michael Lair and his team at Stevens Community Medical Center Eye Clinic provide our area with excellent care using the most innovative technologies to evaluate your vision needs.  At SCMC, we are committed to continuing quality eye care and encourage you to come in regularly for exams.

We're your choice for Foot Health

Amee Gibson, DPM

As a podiatirst, Dr. Gibson specialzies in diabetic foot care and sports medicine as well as Wound care, achilles tendinites, plantar fasciitis, foot and ankle injuries, stess fractures, cractures and more. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Gibson currently provides services to Stevens Community Medical Center as  well as to outreach clinics in Starbuck, Graceville, Wheaton, Elbow Lake and Appleton. She also provies her services to area nursing homes. 

 

Surgical Weight Loss Informational Meeting

Stevens Community Medical Center will be having an informational meeting for individuals who are considering having weight loss surgery. The group is facilitated by ACMC surgeon Ryan Lussenden, M.D. and a registered nurse. There is no cost to attend. The meeting will be in the Adminstration Conference Room (ACR) at SCMC from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, February 1.

Welcome Stephanie Knobloch

We are excited to welcome Stephanie Knobloch, CNFP to Stevens Community Medical Center. She specializes in all areas of Family Practice from infants to geriatric care and is eager to serve your families health needs. Stephanie graduated from the U of M Twin Cities and was certified as a Nurse Practioner in 2003. She is originally from the Morris area and is proud to be practicing in her hometown community.

Allergist joins SCMC

Stevens Community Medical Center is pleased to announce that Dr. Brennan, Allergist, will be joining SCMC full time starting September 1st. Dr. Brennan will provide services here in Morris, as well as a few outreach clinics. To make an appointment to see Dr. Brennan, please us at 320-589-7600.

Gold Seal of Accreditation for Mammography

We are proud of our Mammography staff for receiving the Gold Seal of Accreditation from the American College of Radiology!!

The ACR gold seal means that our patients can rest assured that their imaging test will be done at a facility that has met the highest level of imaging quality and radiation safety!!
