Office Specialist

Two Full-time positions available

1-Full-time position serving patient health information needs in a friendly and professional manner.  In addition to HIM department duties, position includes patient referral processing using Epic EHR system.  Ability to work as a team player in a high activity environment with accuracy while protecting patient confidentiality and security.  Epic EHR experience helpful, medical background preferred with proficiency in excel.  May include weekend and holiday rotation.

1-Full-time position available.  Includes serving patient needs through appointments and registration for clinic, ER and hospital services by greeting patients in a friendly and professional manner, verifying insurance information and entering patient information into the Epic system in addition to other HIM department duties. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.  Ability to work as a team player  in high activity environment with accuracy while protecting patient confidentiality and security.  Medical background preferred.  Schedule includes every 3rd weekend and holidays. 

Personal Chef

Two Part-time positions available.

1- 4 shifts per week, mainly morning shift 6am-2:30pm but evening shifts 11pm-7:30pm may be required.  

1- Fill in position, flexibility required as fill-in hours could include morning shift 6am-2:30pm or evening shift 11pm-7:30pm.

Both positions require rotating weekends and holidays.  Some lifting required. Food service experience helpful

Clinic LPN/CMA

Full-time or part-time positions available for LPNs and/or CMAs to join our clinic team.  With new providers joining our clinic, (Allergy and Internal Medicine) we are looking for LPNs and/or CMAs who will work with providers, patients, and staff to deliver timely, quality patient health care services.  This position may include some weekends and fill-in with other practices as needed.

Skills and Abilities required:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with physician, patient, public and other staff
  • Knowledge of clinical technical skills
  • Must demonstrate sensitivity with confidential information
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Comfortable working with computer systems and willingness to learn and use programs.
  • Participates in activities directed towards continuous improvement within the department
  • Demonstrates a commitment to assuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to adapt to varied situations

Skills and Abilities preferred:

  • Working knowledge of EPIC electronic health record system. 
  • Clinical Experience.

Patient Account Services Director

Full-time position.  Five years of supervisory and health care experience in medical billing/coding required.  Applicants must possess strong leadership and motivational skills, as well as a demonstrated commitment to compliance and meeting industry benchmarks. Strong customer service skills are also needed.

Medical Technologist/MLT

Full-time and part-time positions available. Shared day and weekend call schedule.  

ASCP or equivalent required.  Preferred microbiology experience

RN - Med/Surg

Full-time positions available.  We are looking for individuals to provide professional nursing care in an acute hospital setting.  Registered nurses at SCMC have the ability to care for patients in various settings, including medical, surgical, obstetrics and the emergency room.  Current RN license required.  Full-time benefits include health, dental, life and disability insurance and vacation/sick leave program. 

Full time--three 12 hour shifts per week, every third weekend.

SCMC is looking for a Full-Time LPN to provide direct patient care on the acute medical/surgical floor, will also include training to the nursery area. Must be willing to work as part of a team with RN supervision, while delivering quality patient care in a high activity environment. Must have current LPN license, with no stipulations. PT to FT position, experience and certification preferred, but willing to train the right candidate if previous medical experience in any field.
