We are excited to announce the addition of Nurse Practitioner, Donna Piotter, to the SCMC team of providers. Donna will play a key role in providing care for same-day appointments and Urgent Care at the Morris location.
Donna is board-certified in Family Practice and will provide personalized, quality healthcare to patients of all ages; focusing on health promotion, diagnosis, and management of acute conditions including treating the unexpected illness or injury. She has worked in healthcare for over 27 years, 22 of which have been focused in acute care nursing. Donna prides herself on a strong commitment to quality patient care and caring for patients of all ages.
Donna offers a holistic approach, which involves addressing the whole person-mind, body, and spirit to achieve optimal health and healing. She is excited to be part of Stevens Community Medical Center and wants to help people to be knowledgeable in healthcare prevention, screenings, and disease management so they can take personal responsibility for their health and wellness.
Donna earned her Associates in Science of Nursing in 1999 from Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN. Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Public Health Nurse in 2014 from Rasmussen College, Bloomington, MN. Donna completed her APRN, Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Chamberlain College of Nursing, Illinois in 2017 and is board-certified by the ANCC.
Donna and her husband live on a hobby farm and have three adult children and one granddaughter. Her hobbies include being outside, gardening, hunting, boating, spending time with family and friends.
