Amy received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2018 from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, spending some time in an Urgent Care setting before making the switch over to full-time orthopedic practice where she became a board-certified Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner. Prior to getting board-certified, Amy previously worked as a RN for 15 years where she found her love in medicine and caring for others.
Amy lives in Morris with her husband and 2 sons. She enjoys a variety of outdoor activities. Amy also has her black belt in TaeKwonDo and she enjoys practicing and teaching martial arts.

Amy works with the Orthopedic Team and with Dr. Holte directly, assisting in surgeries. Amy’s scope of practice includes joint injections, casting, fracture care, follow-up on surgical cases and fractures, and more. She is passionate about surgeries of joint replacements.
