Donna Piotter, FNP-BC

Donna has an appreciation for living, and working in rural Minnesota. Donna’s husband George is self-employed and owner of Piotter Construction. They live on a hobby farm and have three adult children: Victoria, Dwight & Derek and they have one granddaughter Aurora. Her hobbies include being outside, gardening, hunting, boating, spending time with family & friends.

She earned her Associates in Science of Nursing in 1999 from Ridgewater College in Willmar MN. Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Public Health Nurse in 2014 from Rasmussen College, Bloomington, MN.  Donna completed her APRN, Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Chamberlain College of Nursing, Illinois in 2017 and is board certified by the ANCC.


Donna specializes in Family Practice and will provide personalized, quality healthcare to patients of all ages; focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of complex acute and chronic conditions including treating the unexpected illness or injury. She has worked in healthcare for over 27 years, 22 of which have been focused in acute care nursing. Donna prides herself in a strong commitment to patient care and to provide full-spectrum healthcare to patients of all ages.



Donna offers a holistic approach, which involves addressing the whole person-mind, body and spirit to achieve optimal health and healing. She is excited to be part of Stevens Community Medical Center and wants to help people to be knowledgeable in healthcare prevention, screenings, and disease management so they can take personal responsibility for their health and wellness.
