Dr. John A. Dvorak received both his undergraduate and medical school degree from University of Minnesota. The youngest of 14, he was born and raised on a farm southwest of the Twin Cities where he learned the value of family, hard work and rural healthcare. He specializes in conventional cataract surgery, laser assisted cataract surgery, LASIK, PRK, laser eye surgery and comprehensive ophthalmic surgery. Dr. Dvorak’s skills have been recognized by numerous organizations including the American Board of Ophthalmology in which he has been board certified since 2001, Top Surgeon Award from Sightpath Medical 2013 and 2014. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology, Minnesota Medical Association, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Dr. Dvorak enjoys composing music, hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with his wife, 16 children and 11 grandchildren.
